Positive Signs was established in 2004, but with over 25 years of experience in the field, Positive Signs is a Deaf-led business committed to delivering quality British Sign Language Training, Interpreting and Consultancy services to the private and public sector.  Our Director, Sally Paull is a Deaf BSL user herself and so has experienced first-hand the services that we want to improve.  She is able to give that personal insight and couple that with her professional experience and those of her staff, you have a win-win situation and service.

As a Trainer and Consultant, Sally’s reputation is well-known and respected throughout the UK. Her work as an NVQ Internal Verifier for the Sign Language Qualifications takes her all over the country assessing and supporting a variety of candidates. She is also one of the few External Verifiers for the National Standards and Awarding Body for Sign Language Qualifications – Signature. Having that experience makes her an invaluable Trainer and Consultant at Positive Signs. She prides herself on her strict rules and criteria and wants to ensure that all her sign language students can communicate with fluency, confidence and accuracy and so best service the needs of the Deaf community of which she is a member.

Although based on the borders of Essex and East London, Positive Signs has built up a strong reputation further afield and we are proud to have done consultancy work and training with National organisations and businesses from the range of sectors. We predominantly consider ourselves a local business, supporting clients around London, the Home Counties, in to Essex and East Anglia but with the potential for National work offering a professional service with the personal touch.

One in five of the UK population is either Deaf or hard of hearing. This is a large potential market of both customers and employees that we can help you tap in to and create a smooth customer, client or employee experience for all parties involved.
